A Course in Miracles

A Course in Miracles is the cornerstone of our practice here at Deep Memory Recovery^©. The central theme of the attainment of Peace through Forgiveness (both Forgiveness of Self and Forgiveness of Others) which echoes throughout the Course is a goal of nearly all of our therapeutic work.

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.

This is how A COURSE in MIRACLES (ACIM) begins. It makes a fundamental distinction between the real and the unreal; between knowledge and perception. Knowledge is truth, under one law, the law of love or God. Truth is unalterable, eternal and unambiguous. It can be unrecognized, but it cannot be changed. It applies to everything that God created, and only what He created is real. It is beyond learning because it is beyond time and process. It has no opposite; no beginning and no end. It merely is.

A Course in Miracles Study Group

You are cordially invited to attend a weekly study group for A Course in Miracles!

We offer a weekly ACIM Discussion Group which facilitates understanding the practical application of using the teachings of the Course in our daily lives. Feel free to drop in on Monday nights or check out our Yahoo Group Site where you can meet other students of the Course online and share your thoughts and insights. The weekly meeting is from 6:30pm to 8:00 every Monday in the Gerber Clinic Movement Studio on the 2nd floor. Please come on time and bring your study material. Friends and drop-ins are always welcome.

We will be starting on Monday, January 25th 2010.

Our intention in this group is to emphasize the “Practical Application of the Course in our Lives”.

Our focus for 2010 will be the following books, and it is highly recommended (if not required) that you get a copy for your own study purposes. (If you are unable to obtain one due to financial hardship, please let us know and we'll give you one.)

* We'll start the year studying "The Manual for Teachers" by using Ken Wapnick's guide: "A Journey Through The Manual For Teachers"

* Then we'll explore Gary Renard's "Disappearance of the Universe"

* Finally we'll study of the Text of "A Course in Miracles".

* We'll also provide a calendar which will include the Workbook Lessons for 2010.
